Sam Carter took over Restaurant 22 a short time ago and is receiving (well deserved) rave reviews. The food is delicious and the atmosphere luxurious. Vanderlyle on Mill Road was recently opened by Masterchef finalist and former Hole in the Wall’s Alex Rushmer. Offering a set 5 course seasonal feast of a menu, the chefs work directly with local growers and producers to compile the menu based on what is available locally. Recently refurbished Parker Tavern is a city centre restaurant by chef Trisan Welch. This ample restaurant can handle larger groups but is also special for a smaller celebration. Try their Cambridge themed afternoon tea, or a drink in the beautiful art deco style bar. See our review here.

The two Michelin starred Midsummer House by Daniel Clifford has been serving the good people of Cambridge for many years. Fabulous high quality food and a dreamy ambience- this is a real treat.
8 course tasting menu – £135, lunch menu at £50 also.
